How Hyvo Inc. handles information when you use Hyvo. It applies to our website, the app, and the services around them.
01
Who we are
The controller of your information is:
Hyvo Inc.127 N Higgins Ave Ste 307d #3155Missoula, MT 59802
United States
info@gethyvo.com
02
What we collect
- Account information. Name, email address, and authentication details.
- Customer content. Drafts, posts, ideas, and anything else you create or upload.
- Brand context. Your brand voice, writing style, identity, audience, competitors, and the rules you set, together with what Hyvo records about content you have published.
- Connected account data. Profile and posting data from platforms you authorise, limited to what is needed to publish and to keep your workspace accurate.
- Usage and device data. Log data, IP address, browser and device information, and how you interact with the Service.
- Billing data. Handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
03
Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and the Service secure. We also use analytics and product monitoring tools that set cookies and record how pages are used.
Analytics and session recording
We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand traffic and how visitors move through the site, Microsoft Clarity to record page interactions and produce heatmaps, and Datadog Real User Monitoring to measure performance and diagnose errors.
Microsoft Clarity and Datadog Real User Monitoring can capture session recordings, meaning a replay of mouse movement, scrolling, clicks, and page navigation. Text you type into form fields is masked in these recordings. We use them to find usability and performance problems, not to identify individuals.
These providers act as our processors and are bound by their own terms and privacy commitments. You can control cookies through your browser, and browser Do Not Track and similar signals are respected where these providers support them.
04
How we use information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service;
- to generate, schedule, and publish content on your instruction;
- to maintain your brand context so output stays consistent;
- to secure accounts and prevent abuse;
- to provide support and send service messages; and
- to meet legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your customer content to train foundation models for other customers.
05
AI processing
To generate and revise content, we send relevant context to AI model providers acting as our processors under contract. That context can include your brief, your brand information, and prior content, because output quality depends on it.
AI output can be inaccurate or resemble other material. Review it before publishing.
06
How we share information
We share information only with service providers who help us run Hyvo (hosting, storage, AI processing, analytics and monitoring, payments, support), with the social platforms you connect when publishing on your instruction, where required by law or to protect rights and safety, and with a successor entity in a merger or acquisition. Our current analytics and monitoring providers are Google, Microsoft, and Datadog.
07
Retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Some third-party platform data is subject to that platform's own retention limits, which we honour.
You can delete your account from within the Service. Deletion removes your workspace content, including brand context, on the schedule described in the app. Backups age out on their normal cycle, and we may keep records we are legally required to keep.
08
Security and international transfers
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege internal access. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We operate from the United States and use providers that may process information in other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards.
09
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You will not be treated differently for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email info@gethyvo.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
10
Children and changes to this policy
Hyvo is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email, and the effective date above will be revised.
